Romanian-born and raised, Galina Juliana is an Atlanta-based photographer who focuses on working directly with architects, interior designers and professionals in the architectural product and commercial development industries. Drawing on her studies of journalism abroad, Galina weaves compelling visual storylines leveraging captivating architectural images from large structures to highly-detailed photos of consumer products.
Using her time-tested understanding of light and its interplay with structures and buildings, she captures the creative and dynamic imagery of stylish residential properties as well as most types of commercial structures.
Her work has appeared in Dwell, Milieu, Modern Luxury, Veranda and is sought-after by architectural, corporate and advertising clients.
To the casual observer, architectural photography might seem easy: point the camera and shoot a building, a bathroom, a bedroom. But in reality, it’s the hours of set up, finding the right angles and patiently waiting for perfect light – it’s this combination of skill, clear vision and of years hard work that allows to translate the vision of the architect or designer and give it a voice.
All of this brings me to my greatest reward: the emotion and instant connection people feel when they see the finished work.
That reward ensures I’m always motivated to exceed my expectations and those of my clients by striving to ensure that every shot I take is better than the last.
